I call it an adventure because I got to climb one of the new 7 wonders of nature in the world :: Table Mountain - - > Look to the flat part of the mountain!

I am about to tell you a story about a girl. A girl who climbed a mountain and conquered something she thought she couldn’t. The mountain wasn’t for the faint of heart. Her very first steps on the mountain caused doubt. Each step grew steeper and harder. Many people came across her path…people from all around the world – each with a different story. Some passed her by; others came to see it that she be encouraged.  The path grew long and weary – it was filled with the unknown. I came to her in her heart and thoughts. I reminded her how I never give my children a mountain they can’t handle and conquer to the fullest. I reminded her of the power of the resurrection and how that same exact power lives within her. Through the resurrection, I made the impossible…possible. I said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” I pushed her up each rock and took her hand to pull her to greater heights. I poured out so that she would conquer in my strength. Her weakness was full so that my strength would overflow.  Tears filled her eyes because of the story I was speaking into her spirit. She discovered in her heart that this was more than just climbing a mountain it was in actuality the story of the adventure I took her on through Honduras, Thailand, & South Africa. The last steps were the hardest. I told her at last, “my promises ring true and I promise you it will be worth it. You are in fact more than a conqueror.”

So, she stood. She stood among the clouds on top of that mountain

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

John 13:7
