A DAY IN THE LIFE || SOUTH AFRICA

 

 

rise & shine ||  5:30 a.m.
 

 

whip up breakfast – tea time ||  6:00 a.m.

 

jesus time || 6:15 a.m.

 

leave for ministry || 7:00 a.m.

 

see the kids coming from the nearby squatter camps to school! || 7:20 a.m.
 

 

begin day in the kitchen! || 8:00 a.m.

 

-wash lots of dishes

-serve plates

 

tea time with the kitchen ladies || 10:15 a.m.

 

{CAROL} – Carol is the lovely baker in the kitchen; she makes all of the delicious rusks. All funds go back to support the school. She is full of so much love and holds a genuine sprit. Please be praying for her to be replenished in strength/health.

 

 

{JENNY} – Jenny is the motherly figure of the kitchen. She is one of the main cooks and always brings absolute joy to the kitchen. She is always trying to help and teach me new things… she has a willing and open spirit. Please be praying for emotional and physical healing. She was stabbed in front of her house a year ago and still deals with the effects of it.

 

 

{CATHY} – Cathy is one of the volunteers in the kitchen. She is so sweet and God has created her to be simply beautiful. Please pray for so much rest and peace over her spirit.

 

 

{LEBO} – Lebo is the main cook of the kitchen. She holds so much compassion and beauty. She is a complete joy to be around. Please be praying for patience, grace, and strength over her!

lunch with the team || 12:30 p.m.

 

wash more dishes || 1:15 p.m.

 

final clean up of the kitchen || 1:45 p.m.

 

time to go home || 3:00 p.m.

 

journal || 3:30 p.m.

 

dinner at auntie & uncles || 5:00 p.m.

 

tea time || 6:00 p.m.


feedback with the team|| 7:00 p.m.

 

sweet dreams || 9:30 p.m.

please be praying that I would be all ears to what the spirit is speaking. also, for overwhelming strength,perserverance, and growth for this last leg of the journey. thank you
